Bow Down
WHAT: Valentino satin bow-front clutch
WHY: Valentino's bow are as iconic as the house's red dress, adorning frocks, shoes, and bags of all sizes. But we're loving the updated, even oragami-esque take on the motif that decorates this emerald-green satin clutch. It's a little less girly, a little more sharp then the big, looping ribbons we've known and loved from Valentino--which makes it perfect for those nights that you want to toughen up...but just a touch.

Family Jewels
WHAT: Miu Miu cabachon slide
WHY: Vertically challenged? Not with these Miu Miu stunners. The platform and nearly 5-inch heel will propel you to heights previously unreachable--bringing a new side to concerts and crowds. Oh, and did we mention how gorgeous they are? Gold studs and red, green and blue jewels make for some seriously ornate footwear.

Heavy Metal
WHAT: Lulu Frost black stone and metallic fringe necklace
WHY: Lulu Frost's quirky, chunky treasures never cease to delight us, but our latest must-have? This fringey necklace, studded with oversized black stones. It's glamorous, but with a sense of humor--we can't wait to sport it with something equally unexpected, like an oversized button-down or Alex Wang-esque sweatpants and heels.

Zip It Good
WHAT: Balmain zip bootie
WHY: You have to admit: you're a bit tired of Balmainia. Another seqined, body-con rocker chick dress on a model-type strutting the red carpet may even make you yearn for the days of the trapeze dress (ok, maybe that's a bit too far). Why not keep 'em guessing by echewing the look du moment (by which we mean give your dangerously sharp-shouldered military jacket a rest) in favor of a more unexpected Balmain offering, like these zipped up ankle booties? Die-hard chicsters might not even recognize them as Balmain--which makes them all the more alluring, n'est-ce pas?
