(LOS ANGELES) The Hotel Roosevelt was the place to be on Wednesday night as Nylon, along with YouTube and Kin, hosted a star-studded party celebrating the mag's Young Hollywood issue and its cover girls Ashley Greene, Vanessa Hudgens and Portia Doubleday.
Fashion director Dani Stahl styled the cover (her 10th anniversary shoot) and shared, "The three girls could not be more different! With models, they never say a word; but these girls are all hot and cool and had opinions on everything!" Tweeting live from her new Kin, a Microsoft and Sharp smartphone, Stahl raved about the latest pin additions to her Lia Sophia jewelry collection and appreciatively took in the scenery at the iconically glamorous Hollywood hotel. "I'm like Eloise at the Roosevelt! Every time I'm in L.A. I have to stay in the exact same room and lounge in the exact same cabana."
The poolside party packed in hip, fashionable young talent including Cory Kennedy, Peaches Geldof, Amber Rose, Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge, Shenae Grimes, Zac Efron, Stephanie Pratt, Brody Jenner, Kristin Cavallari, Brenda Song and more, while a fun photo booth station, upbeat mix of music, open bar and on-location filming of The Hills (naturally) provided hours of entertainment for all. "Oh my god, it's crazy packed here!" exclaimed Kennedy, who joined friends in the VIP area after a private dinner (of beet salad, salmon and ice cream sundaes) upstairs at the Dakota restaurant. "I've seen everybody I know here tonight, but the highlight has got to be when Sir Bob Geldof himself demanded that I get him a scotch earlier!" laughed the socialite, who wore a mod-inspired dress and playful head wrap.
Designer Jeremy Scott, who is currently working on a collaboration with Adidas and gearing up for New York's Fashion Week in September, stayed until the very end of the evening and raved about everything from Nylon ("I've been so blessed to be featured in the magazine so many times. Katy Perry wore my bone jacket on the cover last month!") to the P.R. stars behind People's Revolution who coordinated the bash. "It's so nice to see Kelly [Cutrone] when she's in town, and baby Ava is such a fashion diva already! They were in SoHo the other day, and Ava said, 'That man is carrying the same Jeremy Scott bag Mummy has! And Kelly said, 'That man is Gareth Pugh!'"
