    WHAT: Popchips

    WHY: When we read that these nibbles had no trans fat, saturated fat, cholesterol or preservatives and weren't fried or baked, The Daily was highly skeptical. Visions of cardboard-like crisps abounded since most chips while good for you tend to lack any savory quality. Thankfully Popchips lived up to the promise of "All the flavor. Half the fat." The company doesn't offer up many details on the exact process beyond saying it uses quality potatoes, heat and pressure (no oil either) to create these tasty treats. Available in original, barbeque, salt & vinegar, and parmesan garlic, we recommend the salt & pepper flavor--simple and delightful.
