Green Goose

(NEW YORK) After giving birth to her second daughter this past May, Rachel Roy is set to have a busy September. The designer is collaborating with Grey Goose vodka by designing a signature cocktail dress to be worn by the brand's models at Fashion Week, select parties, and other sponsored events across the country, including the Emmy Awards. The dresses will make their debut at the designer's presentation on September 4.

But that's not the only unique piece she will show this season. For Spring 2009, Roy is introducing green designs, which she will continue to selectively incorporate in seasons to come. She will donate 100% of the proceeds to OrphanAid Africa, an organization that aims to help orphans in Ghana to grow up in healthy environments that provide quality care and education.
