(NEW YORK) Wang and Wasson are two names that have existed ensemble for so long that it's tricky to imagine them apart. But come September, model Erin Wasson will no longer be assembling the looks for Alexander Wang's runway show. The designer has hired Alastair McKimm. "I love his work and he gets the whole street aesthetic," said Wang. "We connect on a lot of levels." The designer confessed to being a long-time fan of McKimm's work for Russian Vogue and i-D. Wasson, for her part, will be plenty busy designing her new line Erin Wasson for Rvca. She has just signed a 3-year agreement with the brand, and her first collection has already been scooped up by Opening Ceremony. Wang's show will take place at Eyebeam on September 6 at 5 p.m..
