Half of Preen's design team to skip Fashion Week; give birth

(NEW YORK) It looks like Preen's design team will be down one crucial member come Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. This season, Justin Thornton will fly solo for the first anniversary of the brand's runway presence in New York. His partner, Thea Bregazzi is staying home in London to give birth to the couple's first child. "It's such a strange feeling to know this will be the first show ever without Thea there on that day," said Thornton. "We will, of course, have done all of the final edit and finished the collection together before I leave London. It's just the final fittings, et cetera that we do in New York. I'm hoping that the baby waits till I'm home! Thea and I were joking about getting our producer, Juliette, to set up a webcam, so Thea can feel like she is here with us. But alas, it will be just be old fashioned telephone calls." Any baby collections in the works? "Let's wait for the baby to come! Then inspiration may strike!"
