A Romantic Regal

(MILAN) Roberto Cavalli: from romantic to regal? The Italian designer, who this week proclaimed that he will remain part of the package should he sell his company, looks like he's found a new inspiration: Princess Beatrice.

"Beatrice is always great looking," Cavalli told Fashion Week Daily at a dinner he hosted on Thursday to launch his new wine collection. "I'm going to design a few things with her in mind." Could the 19-year-old daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York (and a close friend to Cavalli) be the starting point for his Spring 2009 collection? Regardless, Cavalli seems unfazed by the princess' potential--this, despite the fact that she received criticism in the press for past outfits.
