Roberto Cavalli to lecture at Oxford University
Tuesday, May 27, 2008

(LONDON) Just call him Professor Cavalli. Roberto Cavalli will lecture at Oxford University's student union tomorrow, the first time an Italian fashion designer has been invited to speak there. Cavalli's visit is part of the Oxford Union Society's tradition of organizing student encounters with scholars and key players from the worlds of art, fashion and politics. Past guest lecturers have included Tom Ford, Michael Douglas, Anna Wintour, Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf and Bill Clinton.

Today, Cavalli will be a guest of the London College of Fashion for a public interview with Colin McDowell as part of the Sunday Times Style lecture series. It will be followed by a Q&A session.
