(NEW YORK) Manga mania has hit Uniqlo.

As part of the Japanese retailer's returning UT Project (UT standing for Uniqlo T-shirt), a limited edition collection of tees will feature Japanese pop culture icon Manga, a term used for printed comic books in Japan. The initiative officially kicks off today, with Manga merchandise featured prominently at all Uniqlo stores. Vinyl pictures from the comic books and large printed tapestries will cover the entire mezzanine level. Priced at about $15.50, new styles will debut every week for the rest of the year.

To celebrate the innovative UT Project's new season, Uniqlo is rolling out an ising campaign featuring Chloë Sevigny and Tadanobu Asano, a Japanese actor, shot by photographer Dan Jackson. The campaign will be executed guerilla-style, as well as via full-page isements in Time Out New York, AM New York, and the New York Post. It will also be revealed in a dedicated UT section on the Uniqlo paper, which debuts on Monday.
