Proenza Schouler designers take time slot vacated by Marc Jacobs
Friday, December 07, 2007
(NEW YORK) Seventh Avenue wasted no time in anointing one of their fellow designers to take the coveted Monday night spot left open by Marc Jacobs, who announced on Wednesday that he was moving his show to Friday, February 8, during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week here. Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez will present their Fall 2008 collection on Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. And the duo evidently enjoyed the ample elbow room that the Park Avenue Armory afforded them in September, as they've booked the grand space for a repeat performance there.
