The MAD Ones

(NEW YORK) Downtown fixtures will come uptown in droves on Wednesday night for the Museum of Art and Design's MAD Paperball, a celebration of the musuem's first anniversary which will benefit the children's education programs at MAD. So the MAD part is clear--but Paperball, qu'est-ce que c'est? The museum will fête its birthday, of course, but also the opening of Slash: Paper Under Knife, an exhibition of works by 45 artists using paper, cut, torn, burned or shredded (appropriately, Kate's Paperie is a lead sponsor of the evening). Rose McGowan, Coco Rocha, and Mad Men's Bryan Batt will play host for the evening to a slew of partygoers like Terrence Koh, Chris Benz, Rogan Gregory, the threeASFOUR team of Adi, Gabi and Ange, Ruffian's Brian Wolk and Claude Morais, and the evening's DJs, Paul Sevigny, Harley Viera-Newton and Cassie Coane, and Leo Fitzpatrick. As for the attire, we can only imagine what these crowds might come up with--but The Daily is hoping to see chicsters sporting Karl's paper Chanel headpieces...
