The September You'll Remember

(NEW YORK) It appears that when it comes to promoting documentaries, Anna Wintour has gone the way of Valentino Garavani. The editor plans to attend a splashy opening of The September Issue hosted by R.J. Cutler, Roadside Attractions and A&E Indie Films on Wednesday, August 19 that will be followed by a private party. Maybelline will serve as a sponsor. Karl and Stefano make the transatlantic voyage? Perhaps--but you're guaranteed an Oscar sighting. That event will be followed by a Peggy Siegal-helmed screening in the Hamptons on Saturday, August 22. Expect the real September issue in the gift bags...
