Elle to honor top females in film on October 6

(NEW YORK) The annual Women in Hollywood dinner has become a benchmark for top females in film. Elle will once again host the prestigious event, which will honor Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway, Sigourney Weaver, Isla Fisher, Jane Fonda and director Catherine Hardwicke.

"Simply put, the honorees this year are remarkable," said Elle editor-in-chief Robbie Myers. "They have pushed boundaries both onscreen and off on behalf of all women in Hollywood. They have conquered this industry with grace and style."

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the tribute, which will take place at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills Hotel on October 6, 2008. Calvin Klein Collection, Euphoria Calvin Klein and Moët & Chandon will serve as the evening's sponsors.
