(NEW YORK) Fashion and technology are joining forces this fashion week with the fusion of "China Chic & HP." Vivienne Tam is creating a limited-edition computer with Hewlett Packard--we're guessing it will come in her signature shade of lucky red. This isn't the first time a top American designer has collaborated on a PC; previously, Vera Wang designed skins for HP laptops.

To celebrate the venture, Tam will host a party at her Mercer Street store on September 9, following her Spring 2009 show at Bryant Park.
