Halston to debut Spring 2009 collection at MoMA
Friday, August 01, 2008

(NEW YORK) Despite Halston's recent upheavals--namely, the abrupt departure of designer Marco Zanini, as well as the ambiguously severed relationship between the house and creative consultant Rachel Zoe--the brand is still forging ahead. Yesterday, the Tamara Mellon-revived house announced that it will show during New York's Fashion Week, with a launch on September 9 from 5-6 p.m. at the Museum of Modern Art. While a new designer has not been named, sources close to the brand suspect that an in-house team is finishing the collection. An official announcement is expected in the next few weeks.
