Tuesday, July 29, 2008

(NEW YORK) Mischa Barton has served as the campaign's preppy starlet--and Meredith Melling Burke is a self-proclaimed fan--but Keds continues to amp up its style presence. Tuesday morning, the brand announced its latest designer collaboration, this time partnering with designer Tracy Reese. The Plenty by Tracy Reese for Keds line will include peep-toe wedge sneakers, skimmers and ballet flats inspired by designs and prints from the Spring 2009 collection.

"Keds has a unique feminine aesthetic coupled with fun, whimsical designs," said Reese. "I am thrilled to collaborate with such an iconic brand and excited about fusing the Plenty by Tracy Reese eclectic and wordly designs with casual footwear."

In previous seasons, Keds has partnered with Nanette Lepore and Zero Maria Cornejo. The Plenty by Tracey Reese collection, which will retail for $65 to $80, will be available in March 2009 at keds.com and in Tracy Reese boutiques, as well as select department and specialty stores nationwide.
