Giles Goes Tech-Chic

Deacon designs "he" & "she" laptop covers for Intel

(LONDON) Giles Deacon, fresh off his collaboration with Mulberry, has ventured into the world of textiles, creating an exclusive print for software giant Intel. The tribal-inspired print is manufactured in "female" and "male" versions, appropriately enough represented by pink and blue, respectively. The designs will be applied to Intel's selection of Asus notebooks, which will be available exclusively at Selfridges in July. Only 150 of each design will be produced, each numbered to bear its coveted status. "I use a laptop everyday for work and when I travel," Deacon said. "It's about time they got fashionable."
