Armani's Dreamgirl

(NEW YORK) Beyoncé Knowles has been named the newest face-and voice-of Giorgio Armani's next women's fragrance, Emporio Armani Diamonds, announced L'Oréal, Armani's beauty licensee today. Details remain mum on the collaboration, but the scent is expected out this fall and the Grammy Award-winning singer will, in addition to appearing in print and television isements, lend her singing prowess to a classic American song that will complement the scent's marketing strategy. Knowles' relationship with Armani is certainly not new; in addition to having attended his fashion shows and wearing his gowns on a multitude of red carpets, the multitalented personality lent her support to the Emporio Armani (Product) RED launch initiative to fight the global AIDS epidemic and performed in London last September at Armani's "One Night Only" fashion show extravaganza.
