Elle-ward Bound

(NEW YORK) Just as The Daily first reported exclusively on Monday, December 18, and WWD repeated in today's Memo Pad, Joe Zee is joining Elle as creative director. An announcement will come in the New Year. Zee is expected to attend the upcoming Fall collection fashion weeks, and possibly even the Paris couture shows in January, as a Hachette Filipacchi employee. International creative director Gilles Bensimon will continue to shoot the title's covers, as well as have a hand in all 37 editions of Elle worldwide, while Zee, reporting to Elle editor-in-chief Roberta Myers, will concentrate solely on the U.S. edition.
