Donna Karan’s Spring Campaign Captures A New York Moment

Donna Karan is sharing her feelings via her Spring ad campaign and the designer is letting everyone know that she absolutely loves New York. (As if we didn’t know that!) “New York is my palette, my passion, my fuel; a culture that empowers creativity,” she said of her muse, in a statement. Set upon a backdrop of angry brush strokes of black, white, and red is IMG’s Andreea Diaconu, dressed in urban chic garb that is apropos for countless Manhattan moments. For a gala at Cipriani’s there’s a sultry black crop top and mermaid skirt, for a day at the Met a painted coat will do the trick, and for a grueling day at the office, a camel colored utilitarian button down and pencil skirt is parfait. And all of those moments were captured by Peter Lindbergh, who’s lensed 15 campaigns for the brand to date.
