Ladies In Red! DvF Parties With Natalie Joos

by The Daily Front Row

Devoted Diane Von Furstenberg fangirls gathered in the DvF Accessories store in the meatpacking district for a night of fun music and cocktails. The party celebrated the relaunch of Natalie Joos’ blog, Tales of Endearment, in addition to the incipient 40th anniversary of DvF’s line. Throughout the bash, scads of chicettes donned DvF wrap dresses. Joos opted for a brilliant rouge-hued dress from DvF’s collection, which just so happened to match the designer’s outfit perfectly. That is, once Diane changed, mid-party, into a brand new pair of fiery red heels. As for Joos’ site, it’s not your average, Jane Doe setup: “It goes much further than normal blogging: there’s a lot of writing, photography, and video. It’s not like some girl from the Midwest showing her outfits.” Gotcha. The stylish scene included the likes of Laura Love, Elizabeth Gilpin, and Lisa Salzer. Delicious appetizers abounded, which von Furstenberg enthusiastically munched on, and the tunes were upbeat. For those in the mood to ham it up, there was a (DvF-patterned!) photo booth on the premises. Can someone say 1…2…3…DvF?!
