Charlotte Ronson - New York: Spring 2010
(NEW YORK) Pink tulle, silver studs and acid-washed-everything came together at the Charlotte Ronson. Inspired by a fictional 80’s era Julliard dancer, the good girl with a checkered past collection ranged from cotton-candy tulip skirts to a hell-bent leather bombe, but somehow it all worked seamlessly. "It’s a kind of classical meets street," said the designer of her quirky collection. As a play on eighties trends, shoulder pads amped up everything from striped pullovers to boyfriend blazers, and beaded epaulettes were a pleasant final touch.
