Rosa Cha - New York: Spring 2010
(NEW YORK) In his grand debut at Rosa Cha, Alexandre Herchovitch completely redefined the beachwear category by creating a vintage denim look that had everyone from editors to beat-master Sean Paul on the edge of their seats. "I like jeans," was the designer's simple explanation for their inclusion. Of course, there was more traditional (and equally stunning) swimwear included. Inspired by lingerie and the essence of the brand, Herchovitch sent 50's style bikinis featuring itty bitty polka dots sailing down the runway. The confections seemed too precious to wear in the sand. But who needs the beach when you've got Rosa Cha in your closet?
