Karl Lagerfeld Tells Us How He Really Feels

by The Daily Front Row

Press shy Karl Lagerfeld (we kid!) chats with The Telegraph and as usual gives a few “I can’t believe he said that” nuggets to make our job a little easier. This time the Kaiser is bashing Audrey Tautou‘s performance as Coco Chanel in the 2009 film Coco Before Chanel. “Oh, the movie was bad,” he says. “She played it like women’s lib, like Simone de Beauvoir 30 years before The Second Sex. No, no, no, no. Chanel was a different kind of woman. Keira [Knightley] had it. She is a young woman in love, not a spinster.” Snap. Another thing that’s bothering Karl these days are those pesky Facebook and Twitter fanatics. “They lost a lot of time these people, and they become stupid because they nearly tell you they’re going to the bathroom, eh?” Eh.
