Roberto Cavalli - Milan Spring 2010
(MILAN) "It's a strange moment in the world right now," said Roberto Cavalli before the show. "A lot of designers make compromises in their work but I don't care. I know what my woman wants. I go to the stores. I want her to be positive and lovely." He translated his vision by building a serene, Italian garden as the set of the show that literally translated conservative rose, lilac, and leafy colors into collection. Cavalli put out a series of loose apron shaped dresses, sleek shorts, and splatter of positive gowns to please his ladies and earn some new and more cautious fans in the process.
