(LONDON) Marios Schwab famously makes dresses that are like 'surgery for the body', so it didn't come as a big surprise to find that this season, Schwab brought the body's insides, out, with just the right mix of innovation and femininity. From the body-hugging dress with an image of body-generated heat and digital prints on the arms which opened the show, to sculptural body pieces that resembled the spine worn as jackets above mini floaty chiffon dresses with digital prints, body jewelry that resembled veins worn with mini sheath dresses, beautifully draped jersey dresses in black and cream, and skirts which seemed positively arterial, Schwab's ideas and fascination with construction and engineering have progressed; he is, after all, the son of a bra-factory engineer.
