Temperley - Pre-Fall 2008
(NEW YORK) Temperley’s Pre-Fall 2008 collection was inspired by three words--“eccentric”, “romantic,” and “dandy.” These influences played out in frilly bows and ruffles, intricate embellishment, and military details. Looks took a global jaunt with dresses fit for a Grecian goddess, stone adornments made for an Egyptian princess, and cropped dandy pants and sharply tailored jackets, perfect for a British admiral. Pieces alternated between delicate, soft and feminine, and sharp and edgy, a contrast which made for a versatile collection.
