Tuleh - Pre-Fall 2008
(NEW YORK) For his inspiration for the Tuleh pre-fall collection this season, Bryan Bradley explained his theory of what pre-fall should be all about. "Without all the hoopla attendant to the traditional spring and fall runway collections--the nervous desperation of retail types, the cynicism of certain press types, and the constant interruptions from the oblivious types--inspiration becomes obvious: She wants to look as good as she feels. Or, in a word: optimism." The feeling of spirited confidence came through in the crisp collection which embraced Bradley's love of prints and color paired with simple yet elegant silhouettes: a jungle print coat lined in regal purple was worn over a purple silk dress, while other pieces mixed floral with python print and fox fur. A sharp tailored trompe l'oeil coat in white was given an extra jolt thanks to multiple large black buttons while a strapless black, white, and grey cocktail dress was spiced up thanks to an artistic graffiti print.
