Missoni - Pre-Fall 2008
(NEW YORK) A mod-'60s feel prevailed in Missoni's pre-fall collection, as shift dresses with slit pockets, mini skirts, and color-blocking were pervasive. Earth tones dominated the palette with splashes of color throughout, and among the vibrant prints was a standout silk jewel pattern adorned with stone embellishments. The sweater dress was given an update with a caped flap while shorter shifts had diagonal detailing. Grey and yellow were paired together for an interestingly chic combination. For evening, a swirl print gown in ink and blush exuded a sense of carefree elegance.
