Alexandre Herchcovitch - New York Spring 2010
(NEW YORK) Always inventive, sometimes even spooky, Alexandre Herchcovitch served up plenty of piping hot avent garde treats, all heavily rainbow-splashed. Silk frocks and precious lace detailing gave the impression that the models had just crawled out of a toy box. The baby doll look radiated child-like awe, shading the collection with a layer of innocence. The final metal hoop skirts and dresses resembled the scene when Alice of Alice in Wonderland grows too big and wears her house. The rubber material, barrage of color and original approach all contributed to an overall visually arresting collection.
