Sass & Bide Plans To Settle Down In Soho

by The Daily Front Row

Hot on the heels of their New York Fashion Week return, the duo behind Sass & Bide is making a move for New York. Founders Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton are opening their first international flagship in SoHo on November 20th. (Though the pair just stepped down from the board at the brand last week, they’re remaining on board as brand director and creative director, respectively.) The boutique, designed by architect Kelvin Ho from Akin Creative, takes up 2,000 square feet on Broome Street. Why was New York selected for their 19th boutique? “Our first hit jean was the ‘East Village Hipster,’ which put us on the international map,” explained Middleton. “Finding ourselves back in the city that inspired that jean feels right.” Expect to find the shop stocked with women’s RTW, denim, and all the accessories you could imagine.
