Designers Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein of Timo Weiland have been moonlighting as DJs, so we've asked them to write a column about--what else?-- music. Welcome aboard, boys!

"During the Spring of 2010, Alan and I formed DJ duo/syndicate " T*n*A "," explains Timo. "Our gig roster includes Black & White, Soho Grand, Norwood, Chelsea Art Museum, the ModernaMuseet in Stockholm, and private parties in Manhattan and the Hamptons. We often mix and layer tunes to compliment an environment's energy and environment. Every day in our studio, we experiment with music selections as we sketch, arrange inspiration, design fabrics and each season's collection. The soundtrack to the creative process in the TW studio marries classic with modern, much like our brand does. Since ringing in the New Year at our spot inside the Soho Grand Hotel, Alan and I have put together the following playlist of 11 tracks you can expect to hear us playing out loud in 2011."

1) "Take it Easy" by Surfer Blood

2. "Tightrope" by Yeasayer

3. "Young Love" by the Mystery Jets

4. "He hit me (it feels like a kiss)" by the Crystals

5. "Lust for Life" by Iggy Pop

6. "Notorious Thugs" by Notorious BIG

7. "Hold U" by Masta Ace

8. "Down by the Water" by the Drums

9. "Emotional Rescue" by the Rolling Stones

10. "Heard it through the Grapevine" by the Slits

11. "Street Hassle" by Lou Reed

Tom Ford plants a big kiss on the cheek of his partner Richard Buckley on the February cover of OutThe couple, who have been together for 24 years, each appear in the Love Issue and take turns writing about how they first met. Buckley reveals that on their first date, they went to a sleazy "cheapo" restaurant on the Upper East Side. "Tom sat there chit-chatting: And in 10 years I’m going to be showing my own collection in Paris, and I’m going to be a millionaire, and I’m going to do this, and I’m going to do that.” And I kept thinking, This guy is really naïve. But as we talked about other things, it was almost like seeing down a rabbit hole. I felt like I was looking at his eyes, and it was just spinning around and taking me down inside him. I could see he was a good man with a big heart. It wasn’t a physical thing as much as it was a psychic wave." Awww......

Consider Chic jealous! The UK's Daily Mail reports that Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish have chosen two fairy godmothers for their two-week-old son Zachary. The chosen ones? None other than international Vogue editors Ingrid Sischy and Sandy Brandt. All parties are remaining mum on the matter, but we sure hope it's true.

What's Karl Getting Off His Chest This Week?

Karl Lagerfeld is never one to mince words, so we weren't too shocked to hear the Kaiser isn't lending his unanimous support to Emmanuelle Alt at the helm of Vogue Paris. “Her style is her big shoulders, long legs, tight jeans, sleeves up to the elbow, one hip out,” the Kaiser said. “I personally like her. She’s a handsome French woman. She has a style, but is it enough to make a whole magazine?” Lagerfeld is reserving judgment until Alt produces a few issues and added,  “As editor-in-chief, she may blossom." Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Fashion: "This is yoga, right?"
Football: Touchdown!

The position: Hands crisscrossed above head.
Fashion: "Don't talk money or deadlines to me!"
Football: Time Out!

The position: Hand up, palm facing out.

Football: Illegal contact!

The position: Arms over head, one wrist striking the other.
Fashion: "Rock on, Kylie Minogue!"
Football: Personal Foul!

The position: Both hands on top of head.
Fashion: "This place is so packed, I can't move."
Football: Too many men on the field!

The position: Thumb up, elbow flexed.
