Attention aspiring stylists, Linda Fargo fanatics and Bergdorf junkies: get thee to the Dress Bergdorf Goodman's Linda Fargo for Fashion Week contest on Polyvore ASAP and start crafting a digital collage that captures Linda's inimitable panache and is practical for looking fab while she's dashing between shows. "We dress ourselves 365 days a year - it's kind of a relief to have somebody else make a stylish decision for you once in a while!" Fargo said to Chic.

The lucky lady (or lad) to pique Fargo's attention will be transported to NYC, primped and preened by Trish McEvoy and John Bartlett and whisked around Bergdorf by a personal shopper avec a $2,500 giftcard. Now for the glam finale: the winner will accompany Fargo, clad in an ensemble based on the winner's Polyvore creation, to a show during Fashion Week. Magnifique!

The contest kicked off yesterday and runs through Monday, January 31. This is Bergdorf's sophomore effort at using Polyvore to suss out the chicest of the bunch, following the November contest in which a total of 2,857 David Hoey disciples schemed up epic windows for the store.  Already, over 1,000 entries have been submitted, so Chic has a hunch that the stylista competition is going to be stiff. The bubbly @Bergdorfs girl will be leaving tips all week, like today's hint about a studded lacy Valentino heel that Fargo is mad for. For the love of Linda, click to it! Ryan McGinley, known as the youngest photographer to win a spot inside the Whitney Museum, took up his lens at Club Monaco for the brand's candid spring 2011 ad campaign. The 33-year-old shutterbug came on board following in the steps of fashion photogs Peter Lindbergh, Mario Testino, Richard Avedon, and Patrick Demarchelier, who have all teamed up with the brand. Fall 2010's campaign, shot by Victor Demarchelier, brought us Black Swan virtuoso (and Natalie Portman's husband-to-be) Benjamin Millepied. But McGinley had a different story in mind for spring. The famed photographer and Club Monaco showcased "the culture club" posing freely in a classic boardwalk photo booth setup. The eclectic pop-cult squad consisted of Lou Doillon, Lauren Hutton, and Annie Lennox's daughter Tali Lennox along with Lexie and Rachel Smith, filmmaker Brandee Brown, artist Mitch Ferrin, musiciasn Domino Kirke and Matthew Hutchinson, The Virgins' Donald Cummings, actresses Jemima Kirke and Shuya Chang, surfer Johny Knapp, Lexie and Rachel Smith, skateboarder Peter Giang, fellow photographers Jade Berreau and Rachel Chandler, and stylist Tom Guinness. Club Monaco asked their stylish cast what they were coveting on set. Hutton wanted to snatch up the navy trench she was photographed in while Lou went gaga for the loose trousers and basics. How about Tali? She was eyeing the lacy white frock Lou modeled. For your own must-haves, check out the Club Monaco Lookbook for the complete spring 2011 collection.

Now that's some lineup. The front-row at today's Armani Privé show in Paris boasted Olivia Wilde, Jodie Foster, Pedro Almodovar, and a blinged-out Sophia Loren, sporting a diamond choker and ombre specs. "This is my first fashion show ever," said Foster, who is currently in Paris promoting her new film, God of Carnage, directed by Roman Polanski. Not a bad place to start, love!

Swedish pop fave Robyn has Chic "Dancing on My Own" with déjà vu over her uncanny resemblance to the inimitable, envy-inducing cool of Elle style director Kate Lanphear. That angular, plantium blond cut! The delicate feautures and porcelain skin! It figures that the comeback artist and trend arbiter both have cult-like followings for their respective je ne sais quoi.
