The NY Times reports that recent Oscar-winner Natalie Portman (who has an endorsement contract with Dior's Miss Dior Cherie fragrance) is outraged at John Galliano's anti-Semitic comments. Ms. Portman said in a statement: “I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano’s comments that surfaced today. In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way. I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful.”

The Cinema Society and Paramount Pictures hosted a screening yesterday of the upcoming animated film Rango with Abigail Breslin and Johnny Depp lending their voices to the flick. Chisters with their kids in tow included Alicia Keys, Edie Falco, Mariska Hargitay, John McEnroe, Nigel Barker and Mary Alice Stephenson. We caught up with some of the guests on the red carpet to talk animation, celebrity chameleons and MORE!

What film would you love to see animated?

George Stephanopoulos: The Social Network

Edie Falco: Cops

Mary Alice Stephenson: The Wizard of Oz, so my son can be less scared by it. That witch freaks him out.

Abigail Breslin: I'd love to see American Idol animated, it'd be really funny to see people singing as avatars or something!

Who is your animated counterpart?

Edie Falco: Woody from Toy Story

Mary Alice Stephenson: Lola Rabbit if it was a girl because I like her style, she's always decked out. And it's the year of the rabbit. If it was a boy, it would be Speedy Gonzalez.

Abigail Breslin: I really love Ariel from The Little Mermaid, because I have red hair. And I want to be a mermaid.

Who is your favorite celebrity chameleon?

Edie Falco: Meryl Streep

What's the most stylish animated movie?

Mary Alice Stephenson: I love Cars. The Ferraris were so great, and it was just really colorful and cool.

Any surprises while making Rango

Abigail Breslin: I didn't feel like we were making an animated movie - I kept forgetting that we were! It was bizarre, I'd be walking on the stage in partial costume. So we'd just be walking past everyone on other sets in full costumes, and we were wearing a poncho and a hat. People that were working on other sets nearby just looked at us, like, 'what are they doing?'

It wasn't easy picking one look from the parade of fashion that hit the red carpet last night, but Cate Blanchett in Givenchy Couture took our breath away. It also seems to be either the favorite of the night or vocally despised, which makes it even more interesting to us. We'll make this up to you Gwyneth and Mila
