Last night, Chanel hosted cocktails and a private dinner honoring Blake Lively, the brand's latest ambassador. As guests were taking their seats at La Grenouille, a visibly upset Lively confronted a reporter whose site posted a rumor that the actress thought it was "tacky for a celebrity like herself to attend the show." "Why would you do that to me?" asked Lively. "That's just mean." Lively's publicist set the record straight, telling Chic that the Gossip Girl starlet would love to sit front row at Chanel, but she has obligations to shoot the season finale of Gossip Girl. "It's killing her!" to miss the show, the publicist added. But no worries—Lively will get her Kaiser time this weekend, when she will attend a Chanel dinner in her honor.

Who was the mystery guest that accompanied Orlando Bloom to Balenciaga? His mum! Adorable! They were there to watch his wife Miranda Kerr strut her stuff on the runway just seven weeks after giving birth.

There's a new lass in town, and she's looking pretty lovely. It's the Lady by Yoana Baraschi collection, exclusively carried at Lord & Taylor and LordandTaylor.com starting today. The line is packed with party dresses ranging from $148 to $250 which offer lots of day-to-night options and aim to "empower our ladies," according to Yoana Baraschi. She's hoping to "experiment with the concept of feminine magic" with the the embellished and funky yet sophisticated collection. That comes as no surprise, considering Baraschi was once creative director of Betsey Johnson before launching her eponymous line nine years ago. We like!

It's an Angel-ic day indeed! Time for a few pointers on pouting properly and jutting out a hip just so. Adriana Lima knows a thing or two about making love to the camera, so Chic got some takeaway tips:
What's the key to nailing your signature pose?
"High heels definitely help. It defines your legs a lot! I don't like to be barefoot or in flat shoes."
Can we ever catch you wearing flats?
"At home, but never when I'm working or when I want to feel feminine."
Besides your choice of footwear, what else is necessary to pose like an Angel?
"Your outfit and makeup affects how you feel. When I model for Victoria's Secret's "Angels" collection, everything is more delicate and lace-y, so my hair is more light and romantic. It's a different type of mood, a different pose."
