Attention, Sneaker-philes!
Converse's Missoni kicks just aren't enough to satisfy your sneaker cravings, so may we suggest Giuliano Fujiwara? His name by be a mouthful, but the designer (who hails from Japan but works in Milan) has created a Fall 2010 line of sneakers that are just minimalist enough---with a serious splash of chic. We'll take the metallics, s'il vous plaît!

Carrie: Vogue's Cover Girl
The Sex and the City the sequel is just around the corner, and everybody has SJP on the brain---namely, Vogue. Sarah Jessica Parker graces the May cover of the glossy, as photographed by Mario Testino and styled by Tonne Goodman. Parker dished to Vicki Woods about the evolution of Sex and the City, her new position at Halston, and assembling high chairs, and we’ve lifted some of our favorite musings for your delight. Read the article in its entirety at Vogue.com.
“There was every reason to say no, and there were very compelling reasons to say yes…. It’s an exciting time at that company. It has had some false starts that are well documented and it is relaunching itself.” ---On her position at Halston
“I came to New York originally in 1976, and then I got this part in Annie around the corner from Studio 54. I was a little girl, and for some reason they always invited the cast of Annie to Studio 54.” ---On growing up in New York
“We painted our patio furniture ourselves. I make my children’s food myself. We put together their high chairs ourselves; we do a lot ourselves!” ---On keeping grounded

Golden Girl
Why, oh why, does model Alana Zimmer not score more beauty stories? The 22-year-old Canadian has cheekbones to die for--not to mention those dreamy hooded eyes, both of which make this Italian Vogue spread one to swoon over (and tear out of your magazine and stick to your wall). Shot by Greg Lotus, with hair by Antoinettes Beenders and makeup by Stephen Dimmick, the spread (click Gallery for all the images) is making Chic want to retire to a cave somewhere with piles of gold jewelry.

Mario Grauso's better half just looks more splendid by the second, n'est-ce pas? We were agog over her stunning cerulean cocktail frock---not to mention those toned shoulders and arms---at last night's Art Production Fund at The Standard. Darling, share your secrets!

Sculptography
Our favorite Dutch shutterbugs Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin have soared onto our radar yet again, this time for their exhibition at the Andrea Rosen Gallery. “Sculptographs" is on view now until May 1. Browse through our gallery for photos from the installation (we spy a Moss!), and make sure to pencil the exhibit into your culture calendar.

Sweet Escape
Typically, our visits to Saks and saks.com are of the Chloé, Prada, or Proenza variety--but we've just discovered a sweet treat with no dry-cleaning required. Black Hound's Lemon Blosson, Orange Lemon, and Coconut mini-cakes are topped with the sweetest (literally and figuratively) little iced cherry blossoms--and as a bonus? They go perfectly with those Richard Chai petal-print shorts we've been eyeing. Time to indulge! THE DETAILS: Black Hound New York spring pastry assortment, $50, saks.com
