Last night, we dropped by Save Venice's Un Ballo in Maschera event at The Plaza Hotel. Not only does this ballo have the longest title we've ever seen, but they also housed some of the Chicest masked ladies since...we don't know when. Co-chair Amanda Hearst was the evening's standout winner, waltzing around the room like royauté in a strapless Valentino gown. Di-vine!

Joe Jonas was photographed for the April issue of DETAILS photos by Norman Jean Roy, who recently shot Matthew Morrison for the monthly. Our adorable middle Jonas promises that he and his brothers are not breaking up—they're "just taking a break." Phew! He's embarking on a solo career, he moved out of his parents' house and is also dating an older woman! (Excuse moi?) Growing up right before our eyes...

Rebecca Minkoff Pops Over To Palm Beach

Rebecca Is Always On The Go! Rebecca Is Always On The Go!

It doesn't take a lot of arm-pulling to get Rebecca Minkoff out of town. This week, she shares her recent trip to Florida.

"While all the suckers in NYC are coping with the wardrobe challenges of 50-degree days and 10-degree nights, I decided to get outta dodge and head to Palm Beach, Florida.  My excuse? A work event. My motive? Sand and sun.

After a bumpy ride into West Palm, I had no choice but to take a car directly to the beach. Like Superman in a phone booth, I ducked into the airport bathroom and emerged in my beach perfect outfit I have been waiting to break out. I hopped in the car and said, 'To the beach!' To which the driver asked, 'Which beach?' My response: “The one by the ocean!” I am exponentially more productive when able to answer emails with the sand between my toes—approving purchase orders with my feet in the ocean is the only way to do it.

The only thing that could tear me away from the seashore was my hungry stomach. Now, I know there is one in NY, but there is something special about the Bice in Palm Beach during the lunch hour- perhaps it’s because I am always in such a good mood down south!  My mouth is watering just thinking about the little dumplings with pesto and shrimp. These little morsels are worth the plane ticket.

While on Worth Avenue it is physically impossible not to at least window shop!  Cartier, Hermes, Bottega Venetta – maybe someday, a Rebecca Minkoff retail store will grace this street!  Fingers crossed. My fave boutique on Worth Ave, however, has to be ViViG Shoes – a one-stop-shop for Rebecca Minkoff! I spent the late afternoon at the store styling clients and talking shop.  It’s always fun to walk up to a shopper and ask if you can help them and then direct them to Rebecca Minkoff… and then I always introduce myself!

It was hard to leave the store, but alas, I had to stop mixing business with pleasure and make my way back to the office in NYC. Palm Beach, I love you - and your ability to wipe away my winter blues!"

Allergy: Yogurt

Charity: Good Shepherd Services  and ASPCA

How do you like your coffee? Only if it's really hot with a little half and half.

Exercise: I swim between half a mile and a mile every morning, and three times a week, I do a really embarrassing weight lifting routine for little old ladies.

How often do you drive? Never—just a little tiny bit to get the newspaper on the weekends in Bridgehampton.

Illicit crush:  I used to have a huge crush on Steve Martin, but I gave it up 'cause he never called. Now, I'm waiting for Jon Hamm.
