Yes kids, Cinco De Mayo is tomorrow (it has to do something with Mexico’s victory over France over a century ago). And even though it’s not considered an official holiday in our neighbor country, it’s celebrated around the world with plenty of passion…and tequila. We gathered two of our favorite recipes to heighten your Wednesday senses tomorrow. Enjoy!

Paloma Punch
2 parts Milagro Reposado
1 part Aperol
1/2 part Solerno
2 parts pink grapefruit juice
1 part fresh lime
1 part Stevia simple syrup
1 part agave nectar
Fresh strawberries, kiwi fruit and lime wheels
Finish with a splash of soda water or sparkling wine for an extra sparkle!
Garnish with edible flowers

It appears that the lowest-rated show on network television, High Society, is coming back for another season. Perhaps the advertisers are responding? Anyway, Tinsley's fellow social starlette Fabiola Beracasa has a television project in the works. Behold a press release Chic received this morning...and check the Gallery for Fab's most interesting looks!

"On behalf of our client, Fabiola Beracasa, the following details have been sent to acknowledge and credit the dress by Vera Wang with Lorraine Schwartz and Eddie Borgo jewelry.

On Camera Personality and Fashion Brand Consultant Fabiola Beracasa, wore Vera Wang while attending the Met Costume Institute Gala, "American Woman: Fashioning A National Identity,” at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Fabiola currently has her television show in development while working as a contributing editor for Interview Magazine and is about to launch her new charity that is a partnership with the Petfinder.com Foundation.

Fabiola Beracasa wore a scarlet v-neck silk crepe back satin bias sheath with dolman sleeves dress by Vera Wang with Lorraine Schwartz and Eddie Borgo jewelry.

Chic Recipe Series: The AP Power Smoothie

Smoothie Smoothie

If you've been to the new Zimmerman pop-up store on Greene you know that swimsuit season is practically la. As Chic desperately rallies to lose the kilo caused by excess Da Giacomo and Bistro Paul Bert during fashion season, we turn to Marc Jacobs' nutritional staple Muscle Milk. (He orders boxes of the 100-calorie size to stay in shape, as we learned last September...and quizzed you about at the show. Remember?) Fashionette and budding nutritionista Annelise Peterson concocted the following breakfast recipe Chic heartily endorses:

The AP Power Smoothie:

1 bottle 160-calorie Muscle Milk shake (chocolate or vanilla flavor)
6 ice cubes
1/3 frozen or ripe banana
A handful of frozen blueberries

Blend all in a mixer and drink for breakfast or lunch. "A high-protein breakfast gives you energy, and this refreshing potion is light enough for any time when you need a little pick-me-up," says Peterson.

It finally feels like summer in New York City, which means, of course, that it's time to get out. And whether you're decamping to your Montauk getaway or summering elsewhere this season, we'll bet that a trip to the beach (or pool!) is in the cards---which means you'll be needing some chic new accessories. Hermès, anyone? Sure it may set you back as much as a handbag elsewhere, but how can you argue with those seahorses? THE DETAILS: Hermès beach towel, $530, www.hermes.com

Berlin's Rosenthaler Platz Berlin's Rosenthaler Platz

Sure, we love New York---but if you're looking for a vacation spot, may we suggest Germany's capital? Just last week, a group of cyclists dumped 13 gallons of colored paint onto the roads in the city's Rosenthaler Platz, creating a gorgeous mess of colored tracks throughout the neighborhood reminiscent of our childhood sidewalk chalk days. Vandalism or public art, they still don't know...but Chic thinks a reprise in this city might be nice, non?
