This is what we'd call the money shot! NARS celebrated Francois Nars' new beauty book Makeup Your Mind: Express Yourself last night, and a slew of fashion legends came out to celebrate him. The maestro is surrounded by Marina Schiano, Grace Coddington, Anna Sui and Calvin Klein. Impressive!

Thanks to JetBlue Airways' Celebrity Baggage charity auction, 50 famous musicians, actors and athletes have donated signed carry-ons, party purses, briefcases, guitar cases and other (not emotional) baggage too! Among a few of Chic's faves? Diane von Furstenberg's leather Harper daybag--little, black, chic!--and Chelsea Handler's red Tumi tote what comes full of pics and tickets to her show. Some other amusing choices: La Lohan's pony covered LeSportsac complete with a Lindsay My Scene doll, DJ Pauly D's rolling luggage filled with hair gel (natch) and even Cindy Adams' Sherpa Pet carrier, which comes with a signed photo. And that's just to name a few (think The Donald, Molly Ringwald, Melissa Rivers) for this first batch of baggage being auctioned off on eBay with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting JetBlue's charitable partner DoSomething.org. A second wave of celeb collectibles will be released May 31 with everyone from blonde songstresses Taylor Swift and Jessica Simpson to vampy hunks like True Blood's Ryan Kwanten and Twilight's Kellan Lutz offering up their goods. Bidding is open today through June 6 at jetblue.com/celebbaggage.

Buddies! Buddies!

Volkswagen, The Museum of Modern Art, and MoMA PS1 hosted a dinner last night at MoMA with a special solo performance by violinist Hahn-Bin (Madonna was apparently eager to check her out!) and Martha Wainwright. The event celebrated the launch of the partnership between Volkswagen and MoMA that will support innovative exhibitions and education programs at the museum. We initially scratched our heads seeing Stefano Tonchi and James Franco having a chat, but we know those boys love their art, so we're sure they had plenty to talk about. Art devotees joining the festivities included Chloe Sevigny, Rose Byrne, Kim Cattrall, Daphne Guinness, Agnes Gund, Padma Lakshmi, Yoko Ono, Eddie Borgo, Rachel Weisz, Carly Cushnie, Michelle Ochs, Leelee Sobieski and Patti Smith.

We haven't been able to get Carine Roitfeld's proud admission that people think she looks like Iggy Pop off our minds. We had to compare them side by side, and by golly, we can't believe we never saw this one. Do you see it?
