Modern Vintage
Giorgio Armani’s newest optical venture is vintage-inspired, and Chic joined the Italian fashion label at their Fifth Avenue flagship last night for a trip down memory lane. Guests of Armani’s Frames of Life Collection kick-off made their way up the store’s impressively white and winding staircase to the third floor, where cocktails were waiting (bien sûr). Armani’s newest pieces were on display, along with their 1980s rounded-frame counterparts, creating a wonderfully hip déjà-vu effect. We highly encourage those with less than 20/20 to pounce on these spectacular spectacles!

Suit Up
Bonus points for thinking outside the box: for her fall/winter 2010 collection, Nomia designer Yara Flinn has collaborated with master armor maker Jeff Wasson to create some truly noteworthy pieces. You read that right: master armor maker. We’re wary of anything resembling a medieval times fair, but Flinn has used just the right amount of metal accenting throughout her collection. It’s a battlefield out there, darlings---may as well be prepared!

Pinkies Out!
Pinkies out, darlings. Time to sip your tea like a queen! With a Swarovski crystal-adorned handle that resembles a gold ring, this mug is fit for royalty. The 2 Carat Cup is packaged in a black velvet box, with only the 'ring' peeking out. Deceptive, non? THE DETAILS: $15.00, The MoMA Store

Raquel of Gucci Arabia
Oh, to have legs like Raquel's. The Brazilian stunner shows off her enviable limbs in Gucci's Fall 2010 campaign, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in what appears to be a desert dotted with shiny gold thrones. (Click through the gallery for all the images.) It's too bad those chairs aren't part of the collection---they're just as enviable as that divine fur vest...

Cheers!
Chic prefers to do absolutely everything in style. We don’t let the little things slide, not even opening a bottle of our favorite brewski. Not surprisingly, we’re obsessed with Tom Binns' 24-karat gold-plated bottle opener necklace. We love the crystal pearl chain, but we adore the idea of hydrating on the go. Bravo and merci! THE DETAILS: $310, NET-A-PORTER

A Flop Worth Flipping For
This is one collaboration you won’t want to miss. Flip-flop favorite Havaianas just got a little more stylish (and a lot more expensive), with France-based Pinel & Pinel adding their luxurious crocodile leather to our favorite flop. The only question: can you justify spending over $500 on flip-flops?
