Where's The Noir, Alex?
After an almost entirely black Fall 2010 showing, Alexander Wang eschewed the hue altogether for his Spring 2011 collection. What gives, Alex? "I guess it was a departure for me not using any black," Wang told Chic backstage at his show. "I was doing something very optimistic and pure, and in that sense, that was the starting point. It was a reaction to myself and everything I've encountered."

You've been bamboozled, darlings! Yesterday at the Spring showing of Prabal Gurung (quite a prolific tweeter himself), Delevigne divulged, "I do have a fake Poppy Delevigne who Twitters for me! All this person talks about is, 'what will I wear today, pants, a skirt, or a dress?' And I'm like, why would I ever write something as boring as that?!"

Herculean Challenge Alert!
After mastering pole dancing with The Daily last season, Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs have a new challenge in mind. "I'm trying to get Carly to do the High Heel-A-Thon," announced Michelle at the Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2011 show. "It's that crazy heel race in Central Park!" "Michelle is always amazed that I could furiously run after taxis in my heels," responded Carly. " Maybe I could take it one step further!"

One would-be guest was so unhappy with his futile attempts to get into Balenciaga's at-capacity event last night (which boasted Nicholas Ghesquiere himself as well as a performance by Karen Elson) that he caused quite a scene at the door—which ended with him in handcuffs. The man—who clearly had had a few cocktails—was standing right on the edge of the rope and yelling (er, slurring) obscenities at anyone that did get let in. When security tried to get him to move, he stood his ground and yelled at them, “Touch me. I dare you to touch me. You’re not f**king cops.” Finally, security did grab him and pull him away from the door, whereupon our dear sloshed crasher fought them, yelled, and screamed---and it wasn’t long before the sirens showed up on West 22nd Street. Maybe FNO should be a little less generous with the gratis drinks next year?

Tom Ford's Supersecret Plans Revealed!
Sorry, Tom, but we can't help ourselves...For those of vous wondering what, exactly, the designer's women's presentation will entail, your Daily has the dish! Every model is a celebrity---think Beyonce, Lou Doillon, Victoria Beckham---and Tom will walk the ne plus ultra-elite audience through each look personally. Only one snapper will be allowed on-site---working directly under Tom---and photos aren't expected to be released until January, when the merch hits stores, in hopes of curtailing counterfeits. Everyone involved, from the flacks to the guests, have signed confidentiality agreements, and security at the event on Sunday will be extra-high. So if you don't already have an invite, well, dommage, but don't worry---you can read all about it in your Tuesday Daily!
