Neapolitan owner Kelly Golden normally keeps us abreast on what's happening in Chicago, but this week, we get the 411 on her recent trip to Italy.
"The Spring weather has yet to arrive in Chicago, yet I have been traveling the globe buying the resort 2012 collections already! While most of my spring/summer wardrobe has yet to be worn, I am already looking forward to donning pieces from the Resort collections. And I think I'll need to take up surfing! My most recent travels took me to Florence, Italy, my most absolute favorite city to travel to. Staying at the Hotel Lungarno is the ultimate home away from home. It's views of the Arno are amazing and it's location is ideal. Just across from the hotel sits the Ferragamo 'palace' where I viewed the resort 2012 collection. Massimiliano Giornetti, the recently appointed women's RTW designer, has really injected a new life to the once staid collection. The collection offered easy day dresses, chic knit capes, and cool jackets in cotton poplin- perfect for that time of year. While in Florence, I also headed to Gucci, where they are celebrating their 90th birthday. Frida Giannini paid homage to the 50s and 60s in her resort collection, which included color blocking, satin shirt dresses, cropped jackets, and pleated leather mini skirts. Everything evoked the cool-girl-without-trying that Frida does so well.
Although I bid 'addio' to Florence, I am off to New York this week to see more of the Resort collections. I hope upon my return home, I will finally be able to wear some of my Spring pieces, although Pre-fall is already clogging up my closet space!"

In the latest edition of adventures in Terry Richardson impressions, Mark Vanderloo gets in on the act. We're not quite quite sure how we feel about this one: not only is Mark not giving a peace sign, he's just not convincing us that he's our guy. Until next week...

Hello, gorgeous! Annie Leibovitz shot Angelina Jolie for Louis Vuitton's "Core Values" campaign, which unrolls this week. The photo was taken on a wooden boat in Cambodia (duh!) and is expected to run for 18 months, alongside other core value celebs such as Bono and Sean Connery. The actress reportedly donated an undisclosed portion of her fees to charity. Thatta girl!

He began his week with some poolside lounging and hilarious people-watching at SoHo House, squeezed in some quality time with Sarah Jessica Parker--it's so much more than your standard Q & A encounter, trust us!--and later bumps into a fashion mover and shaker strolling the streets in short-shorts. Plus! Sergio Kletnoy, gatekeeper to Marie Claire's EIC Joanna Coles, supplies a list of his latest ear candy to spruce up your weekend playlist...As always, check out the Gallery for flat-out fab photographic evidence of Sergio's whirlwind week.

Today, in a scene straight out of Sex and the City, I spent the afternoon at Soho House with my friends Matty and Kathryn. (Note to SoHo House haters: I was there strictly for the cocktails.) Relaxing by the pool, we observed an interesting cast of characters: fashionistas by the bar, Chelsea boys in one corner, Wall Street types in another, and one really annoying guy in madras shorts dangling his feet in the pool as he waved hello to everyone as if we were in his backyard. It started to pour, so we guzzled our drinks and headed down to the bar to play Jenga (!!) and stuff ourselves with overpriced, miniscule portions of chicken nuggets and cheese cubes barely big enough for even a well-dressed mouse. Gotta love New York.

Off to MILK Studios with my friend Courtney for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be photographed by my fave lensman, Rankin. While shooting his new book, Rankin was snapping pics of several lucky New Yorkers who paid $100 a pop for the privilege. (All the proceeds went to Oxfam.) Rankin has shot just about every boldfacer you can think of: Jagger, Kylie, Lindsay, Justin, Kate, Jay-Z, MK & Ashley, Heidi, Bowie, Adele, and of course, Madonna. I knew I was in great hands. We were whisked away to hair and make-up and, half an hour later, we were standing in front of the world famous master and his camera, posing like rock stars. He took eight shots, declared all of them perfect, and who was I to argue? Now I can say that Madonna and I were shot by the same photographer. Fancy that!

I’m a huge Michael Jackson fan. My first genuine music memory is from communist Russia. As a five-year-old kid obsessed with music, I spent every Sunday morning in front of my grandma’s old TV set watching a weekly 30-minute music program called Morning Mail, featuring Russian pop videos, capped off with a single international hit. When Billie Jean aired, I froze, mesmerized by those floorboards lighting up. After that, I practiced for hours and hours on end trying to light up my grandma’s kitchen floor with my own dance moves. Alas, no luck. Anyway, tonight I was invited to attend a screening of a deeply moving documentary about MJ, called The Real Michael Jackson. Giddy with anticipation, I arrived at a private screening room in midtown with about 15 others. Sitting directly behind me was the soul legend and the woman responsible for all of those Psychic Friends Network phone calls I made as a kid, Dionne “That’s What Friends Are For” Warwick. Right in front of me sat one of the biggest British music icons of all time, Cliff Richard, who at 70 years old looked better than most men half his age. To my left was mega-producer, reality TV star, and MJ’s best friend, David…as in David, the former Mr. Minnelli. I promised not to reveal anything about the documentary, but I will say this: I sobbed for two and a half hours and learned things about the King of Pop that I never knew before. I rushed home and practiced the moonwalk in front of my mirror for the next two hours while listening to the greatest entertainer that ever lived.

We never saw this one coming—Karen Elson and Jack White are splitting after a 6-year marriage and two children. But when fashion royals split, they do so in style. Tonight, the Nashville-based "friends" are throwing a divorce party, complete with "dancing, photos, memories, and drinks with alcohol in them." In a statement released by their rep: "We remain dear and trusted friends and co-parents to our wonderful children Scarlett and Henry Lee. We feel so fortunate for the time we have shared and the time we will continue to spend both separately and together watching our children grow. In honor of that time shared, we are throwing a divorce party, an evening together in Nashville to re-affirm our friendship and celebrate the past and future with close friends and family."
