Ones to Watch: Anthony Vaccarello
Remember his name, because this 30-year-old designer was the buzziest thing to happen on the first day of Paris Fashion Week. Irina Lazareanu opened the show and a parade of angular, minimalist noir ensembles (with healthy doses of bondage and jersey) followed and earned raucous applause. The leg-baring line is already carried at Colette, and expect an exclusivity battle to follow Stateside. Gilhart, Fargo---we're watching.

No Service for the Supers
Trio of beauties Heidi Mount, Hilary Rhoda, and Joan Smalls bravely navigated the streets of Paris last night in desperate search of food until the super trio decided to march all the way up to Café de Flore (under expert directions from Mount). Unfortunately, by the time they got there, the service for food had ended and no exception was being made for the supers. Catherine Malandrino was safely tucked outside, as was Tyra Banks---who made it just before the cutoff time for her omelet and fried shrimp.

Miss Fix-It
We know Colette is your go-to for the ne plus ultra of cool, whether it's a Lanvin frock or that coffee table book everyone's been talking about. But a screwdriver? Yep, they have that, too. Of course, it's not just any screwdriver. (Who do you think Sarah Lerfel is, anyway?) Contemporary artist Tom Sachs has created a whole range of his take on the mundane, from the aforementioned screwdriver to a $16 sharpie and $336 measuring tape that reads "Stanley Kubrick is Dead." While this hilarious art project might not make us all of a sudden handy around the house, we do recognize one perk of the unexpected collab: next time you're going on a shopping spree, just tell your boyfriend you're headed to the hardware store. THE DETAILS: Tom Sachs screwdriver, $78, www.colette.fr
