Fash photog Scott Trindle has been hiding away in his Dalston digs in London for the past year, snapping pics of fresh-faced models for the debut of Viva Model. Sounds like an average day for the shutterbug, right? Non! Trindle shot every supe of the new agency without any retouching. No stylists. No straighteners. No MAKEUP! Natalia Vodianova, Raquel Zimmermann, Kirsty Hume, Edie Campbell, and Edita Vilkeviciute were just a few of the top mods who braved the three flights of stairs to bare it all.

We got a feeling (woohoo) that Fergie had a good night in New York yesterday. Not only did she take home the award for New Celebrity Fragrance of the Year award at the FiFi Awards, but her hunky hubby Josh Duhamel surprised his wife at the show and presented her with the award. How sweet. Chic would like her good fortune to continue, so we're bestowing her with the coveted Look of The Daily! Fergie was glowing last night in a yellow BCBG gown and newly blonde locks.

Carolina Herrera is profiled in the June issue of Harper's Bazaar —you know, the one with the Brit Brit cover. We can't figure out what we adore more--Mrs. Herrera's dishy anecdotes or her regal button-up ballgown in the B&W snapped by Victor Demarchelier. Here's the best of the best from the self-proclaimed "seamstress" herself.

SHE OWES IT ALL TO DIANA! "I went to Diana Vreeland and said, 'You know what? I'm going to design fabrics.' And she said, 'Oh, that's so boring. Why don't you do something else? Why don't you do a collection of dresses? It's much more fun." 

SHE, TOO, DRESSED A FIRST LADY! "Jackie had a great sense of history and responsibility for what and who she was. She said, 'I am nothing. He was the president. I was only the first lady, so I don't have anything to say.'"

SHE WAS EVEN A FACTORY GIRL! "Andy [Warhol] and I used to see each other all the time with Bianca [Jagger] then. When he did my painting, I went to his Factory, and he took 40 or 60 Polaroids. He was quiet, but he did say key things in a very funny way. Andy seemed to be very timid, shy, but he liked being very successful. I remember when he wanted to be a fashion model. He was cast in a Halston show. Bianca and I were in the audience, and when Andy walked in and saw us there, instead of going backstage, he stopped and said hello to all of us. That was the end of that."

Best "Beets" with The Standard's Mixologist

Last week, Chic supped at the Patrón Social Club's latest stop on its monthly gourmet dining experiment, the Secret Dining Society, held at the the Fletcher-Sinclair Mansion, adjacent to Central Park on a tony stretch of Fifth Ave. Marcus Samuelsson whipped up a five-course feast for a lucky crowd of 30 Patron-tippling gourmands while the Standard Hotel's master mixologist Tomas Delos Reyes trotted out a quintet of unusual concoctions that sublimely complemented the chef's creations. Oh, and every single dish and drink was spiked with Patron of some sort, of course, like the cured salmon with pickled fennel and goat cheese avec the "Claudia," a ridiculously tasty mashup of Patron Reposado and beet juice and a zesty hit of lime. Chic took a moment during dessert (layers of chocolate mousse dappled with salt flakes, oh my...) to chat with the crafty cocktail expert. Turns out it's not Reyes' first brush with beets!

Tell me something good about standing on the other side of the Boom Boom’s bar.
If I told you, it would cost me my job.

Touché.
I like working there—actually, I love working there. Love is the word I’m looking for.

Do you get any weird requests?
All the time! One night I ran downstairs to the deli nearby—for beets.

Wow, I didn't know you guys do special orders. Nor have I tried beets as a mixer before tonight.
Yeah, it was on the fly.

Did someone request that?
It was more of a cocktail challenge. It was a foreigner, and he was like, “Surprise me— make me a drink I can’t get anywhere else.” So I took them up on the cocktail challenge…and I got a very good tip out of it.

So is this going to become one of your signature concoctions?
Well, I change my signature so often, it’s hard to keep track.

What should we order next time we’re at the Standard?
Ask for the Downtown.

Is there one ingredient from the Downtown that we can talk about?
Yeah, we can talk about it. 

So...
A spray of a peaty Scotch. But just a spray. Think of it as a nostalgia drink.

We love Court, we really, really do. Especially now that we've learned she's a fan of Daily-et Christopher Tennant's tome, The Filthy Rich Handbook, which she studies "like the Talmud." Yes, really—in a dishy interview with TheFix.com: "Actually, these days I’m only interested in plutocrats. Like really, really rich guys. I’m determined to land one sooner or later. My favorite book these days is something called The Filthy Rich Handbook, which I study like the Talmud. The thing is, I think I can be a real asset to a wealthy man. I’ve always been a great girlfriend, but until recently I’ve struggled to stay single, because I had never been without a boyfriend before. It’s just my nature to couple up."
