Marc Jacobs' Super Cute Tees
More news of designers doing good! Marc Jacobs has designed six exclusive t-shirts for Aid for AIDS International that are available in his stores starting this week. AFAI is the largest HIV and AIDS advocacy program, a non-profit that provides a higher quality of life for people living with the disease focusing on the Latin community. The front of the shirts feature designs created by children living with HIV from their children programs in Latin America and the Caribbean and the back of the is the custom AFAI logo designed by Marc. The shirts go for $35. We recommend getting all six!

Congratulations to our favorite person in the whole wide world! Anna Wintour was decorated in Paris yesterday by French president, Nicholas Sarkozy, with the Legion d'Honneur, the French equivalent of a knighthood. Anna wore a fresh-off-the-couture-runway Chanel to the ceremony, which brought out her fashion peeps Bernard Arnault, Donatella Versace, Alber Elbaz, Franca Sozzani, Riccardo Tisci, Stefano Pilati, Tommy Hilfiger and Karl Lagerfeld. Collab Alert! Nicole Miller + Indego Africa
Sorry Karl, but this is a fashion collaboration that we're 100 percent on board with. Nicole Miller has partnered with nonprofit Indego Africa to launch a line of fair-trade shorts and sarongs to complement their existing line of textile bangles and woven bracelets. And they are cute! Indego Africa is a social enterprise that partners with more than 250 women artisans in Rwanda on a fair trade basis to help them build relationships and fill orders for high-end retailers. "I think people like wearing things that feel organic and not like they're produced in a factory somewhere," Miller said in a statement. You can purchase items online at Nicolemiller.com or at her boutique in Miami at 656 Collins Avenue. Fifteen percent of the proceeds are donated to Indego Africa.

El Botón-MANGO Fashion Awards Heats Up!
Last call! The El Botón-MANGO Fashion Awards, an international design competition for young up-and-comers, is still accepting contestant apps until July 31, so shine your thimbles and dust off your portfolios. In years past, the prestigious Project Runway-esque extravaganza was judged by Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino, and Oscar de la Renta. For the 4th and buzziest edition to date, MANGO tapped Andrej Pejic as the face of the campaign, and garnered 300,000 euro for the winning prize. Bonne chance, designers!
