Salvatore Ferragamo toasted its shiny new RTW boutique at Saks Fifth Avenue last eve with a cocktail bash, co-hosted with DETAILS, replete with hunky male mods, fash folks galore, and Brendan Fallis on DJ duty. On hand for a glass or bubbly or two and a parse through the chicly-stocked racks? The likes of Alex Lundqvist, Grace Bol, Ryan Kennedy, Garrett Neff, Diego Miguel, Jo Elias, and DETAILS fashion director Matthew Marden. (Check out our Gallery for those photogenic folks!) We caught up with the gorgeous Sean O'Pry to discuss his new (canine) gal pal, his grasp of the Italian language, and more. Thanks to O'Pry, you'll never be sans a lighter on the streets of Milan again...

What's the latest, Sean?
I got a new dog!

What kind of pooch?
A mini Australian Shepherd. Her name is Mya.

Given Ferragamo's heritage, how's your Italian?
I can say 'lighter,' accendino, so I can get around a bit.

Which phrase do you always struggle with in Italian?
Everything else that I don't know how to say!

Are you getting recognized much thanks to your Details cover cameo?
Definitely! It's just really nice people that stop me to take a picture. I'm always more than happy.

What do you dig most about Ferragamo?
They're iconic! It's a great thing to be a part of.

Wherever Jenna Lyons goes, her faithful flock of J. Crew-ettes are bound to follow. As was the case hier soir, when Lyons and Frank Muytjens, head of men's design at J.Crew, threw a party in The Library at the Neuehouse to celebrate Casey Neistat’s latest film endeavor. Remember when he wore the label’s Ludlow Suit on an 11,000 mile trek? Well, he's created another short, titled My Kid And Me, which featured a few of Neistat's adventures with his son. The likes of Mickey Drexler, Karlie Kloss, Nick Wooster, Courtney Crangi, Cynthia Rowley and her husband/gallerist Bill Powers, and Misha Nonoo popped by to nosh on sweets and check out the two films. Just when you thought J. Crew has reinvented all possible basics, they show that they can even spruce up a simple movie night.

Wonder where Spring has been hiding? We found a hint of it yesterday inside Calvin Klein’s fashion district HQ, as trees of cherry blossoms transformed the venue into a Spring fling. Yet Fall 2014 was on the mind, thanks to the latest Calvin Klein White Label collection on display, entitled ‘Tender versus tough.’ The cohesive collection served as reminder that 90’s resurgence is officially a thing, now that Calvin has given their seal of approval. Global creative director Kevin Carrigan focused on showing comfortable looks, on trend right now, with oversized, ribbed sweaters on the ladies. As for the hommes, it was all dressed-down tweeds, flannels, felts, and raw denim. No sign of the skinny jean anywhere with the pants slouchy and the waistlines loose. Standouts for the boys and girls were the outerwear, particularly the black and white tweed overcoat for the ladies. The Calvin customer expecting plenty of blacks and greys will be more than satisfied. Lest we forget one staple in every man and woman’s drawers: iconic Calvin Klein underwear was on display, with a hint of that iconic logo peeking right above the pants. Hello, 1992 homage! But don't be alarmed that the collection is stuck in time; Calvin keeps it modern with a wink and a nod to their past. Don't miss the brand's sexy Instagram initiative #mycalvins, where users are asked to hashtag themselves in their CK knickers. We're waiting for you, Mark and Kate.

Next week, Ruffian's Brian Wolk and Claude Morais are embarking on a cross-country road trip across America. They fill us in on where they're off to and why they wanted to take the trek across the states. Happy travels, boys!

What cities are you headed to?
Washington DC, Atlanta, New Orleans, Austin, Marfa, Santa Fe, Scottsdale and ending up in L.A.

What made you decide to take this trip?
We always have been fans of road movies and novels, from Easy Rider to Travels with Charlie by John Steinbeck. There is a rich history of artists, writers, and creators taking to the road to seek inspiration in America and we wanted to put our very own La Vie en Ruffian spin on it (Claude & Brian, not Thelma & Louise!!). We are thrilled that Lexus is giving us some sweet hybrid wheels and W Hotels is providing shelter for us in every city we visit! We can't wait for everyone to read all about it!

What city are you most looking forward to seeing?
We've always had a soft spot for New Orleans. We’re hoping to bump into Brad or Angelina in the French quarter by Ursuline Convent, right next to where their house is!

So, who's the better driver?
Claude tends to be the official Ruffian chauffeur.

What will you do in the car to kill the time in between states?
The W music director is putting together a mix for us. Other then that, we'll play some good old fashion car games and plan what we will do, see, and eat in the next city!

What do you always travel with?
Our favorite jeans, a sketch book, Claude's Saint Antoine medal charm (the patron saint of travelers) and most importantly, our iPhones to document our entire trip on Instagram @ruffian. Make sure you follow us on our adventure!!  #RuffianRoadTrip

The Art of Elysium today announced the creation of the L'Wren Scott Amber Award as part of their Elysium Collections. The award will honor Scott as well as Amber, one of the first children the organization worked with, and be given to emerging fashion designers, who will donate their talents to hospitalized children. The chosen design talents can then create small collections to benefit the Elysium Collections. Founded in 1997, The Art of Elysium's mission is to enrich the lives of artists and hospitalized youth. Scott's family requested that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the organization. Today, the late designer is on the cover of the New York Post and New York Daily News, with newly-released details, including the $9 million Scott left to partner Mick Jagger in her will.

We recently chatted up the always lovely Ann Shoket, EIC of Seventeen, and got the dish on her sartorial choices back when she was 17. Plus! Shoket shares her first big-ticket designer buy...and the iconic editrix who proceeded to compliment the prized purchase.

Was this your dream job when you were a teenager?
I hadn’t thought about magazines when I was a teenager, but I loved and read them voraciously. They were this window into a huge, sophisticated world, and I was desperate to get out of High school and live in that world.

What was your ideal career during your high school days, then?
I thought maybe I’d be a doctor or a novelist. I knew there was something big I wanted to do in the world!

What would you tell your teen self if you could?
“It’s a very big world out there and that there is a lot of experiences to come!” That’s the advice everybody has to hear, honestly. There are tremendous opportunities you just have to go get them. When I think about our readers, I sort of tap into that feeling—the idea of being in your bedroom, dreaming about this big life, knowing that it is out there, but just not knowing how to go get it.

Were you jazzed about fashion at age 17?
I worked at the mall—and I spent every single dollar I made in the mall.

What was your most beloved article of attire?
I thought my first pair of low oxford Dr. Martens were the most important thing I’d ever received in my life. I loved them…and I still do!

What was your most pivotal adult purchase?
The first pair of Manolo’s I could afford. I bought them at a sample sale. I wore them the first time I went to the Matrix Awards. I sat at Helen Gurley Brown’s table, and she told me I looked fantastic. I’ll never forget that moment…and I’ll never get rid of those shoes.
