The latest addition to Beverly Hill’s tony retail scene on Rodeo Drive is Vera Wang, whose 5,500 square-foot boutique will open this Saturday. The outpost, which was buzzed-about back in July, was designed by Brian Sawyer of the New York-based design firm Sawyer Berson. It features a private bridal studio on the second floor; the rest of the shop will have a strong focus on accessories, namely eyewear, jewelry, and shoes. This location replaces her Melrose Avenue shop, which shuttered its doors last week. Despite giving Bazaar a tour of her sleek West Coast pad in 2012, Wang doesn't plan to become a full-fledged Angeleno anytime soon. When discussing her retail venture with WWD last year she balked the idea of being totally bicoastal: “I have never lived there, nor would I live there,” she remarked. “I have a business to run in New York.”

We can't remember the last time Gisele Bündchen was anywhere near NYFW, but yesterday she made a rare catwalk appearance at the Colcci show at São Paulo Fashion Week in Brazil. Gisele fronted their Fall/Winter 2014 campaign and walked for the high-end Brazilian brand in November. Hubbie Tom Brady sat front row to cheer his lady on.

The Brooklyn Museum is getting serious about getting those fashion faces there. September 10th marks the opening of the 'Killer Heels: The Art of the High-Heeled Shoe' exhibition which celebrates more than 160 historical and contemporary heels on loan from designers and from the museum's costume collection, housed at the the Met. Some of the names stepping out? Manolo Blahnik, Chanel, Salvatore Ferragamo, Iris van Herpen, Christian Louboutin, Alexander McQueen, Prada, and Elsa Schiaparelli. There will also be six specially-commissioned short films inspired by high heels from filmmakers such as Steven Klein, Nick Knight, and Marilyn Minter. The exhibition will run through February 15th, 2015. As much as we're looking forward to Summer, could this come any sooner?

Facing 'The Face', Episode 4 Recap

Another new episode of The Face airs tonight on Oxygen, so what'd ya miss last week on the show? Our intern Samantha Borek watched and reports back on what transpired in episode four so you'll be all refreshed for tonight's faceoff.

After last week’s tearful goodbye to Kira, Naomi wanted an explanation. Like us, Anne V. had more confidence in Ray. Needless to say, Naomi Campbell was not pleased, and she and her girls flipped their hair and sashayed away. Diva.

The next day, host Nigel Barker informed everyone that there would be no more test shoots before the campaigns, which means a little more hard work (and yelling) for the girls. Out of the glam frying pan and into the commercial fire, this week our girls filmed a 30-second advertisement for Alex and Ani bangle bracelets. The winners, of course, were safe from elimination and got their commercial put on the Alex and Ani website. The teams had three hours to compose a script and rehearse, and then each team had 15 minutes to film, in one seamless take—all to be judged by (recently departed Alex and Ani CEO) Giovanni Feroce. Most of the episode focused on the girls’ training (finally!) and we were happy to see more of each models’ personality. Kudos to Ray and Allison showing some backbone beneath their flawless exteriors.

Team Lydia [Hearst] had no problems when it came to creating a script, and focused most of their attention to memorization. It served them well, because Ray and Amanda owned their roles. Allison, however, was thrown off her game when Naomi and Anne V. decided to gossip right next to where she was filming. Both mentors felt that her performance was lacking and that she was hiding behind Ray and Amanda. Meanwhile, Team Naomi struggled with their script, and after this episode, it’s safe to say Felisa is definitely the brains of the operation. Between Alana’s terrible memorization and Afiya being unable to pronounce Carolyn Rafaelian's name (the founder of Alex and Ani) Naomi was losing her mind. Team Anne V used their diversity to their advantage to show off Alex and Ani’s all-American baubles. Their commercial had the most energy and it led them to victory when Giovanni chose their commercial over Team Naomi’s. Naomi wasn’t going down without a fight, though, and argued that Anne V’s “We Are the World” approach to their ad overshadowed the bangles. Too bad Afiya couldn’t get the designer’s name right in any of the takes.

With Team Anne V. (perhaps the V is for victorious these days?) safe from elimination, Team Naomi and Team Lydia had to battle it out once more. The choices for Naomi came down to Alana and Felisa for their mousey performances. Alana was chosen in the end to go up against Allison. As Naomi said, Alana couldn’t even fake it to make it, but Alana thought it just wasn’t fair since Afiya was the reason they lost the campaign. Somehow Allison managed to stay in the competition, which surprised us. But really Allison was only saved because the mentors wanted to light a fire under her skinny butt. Only down to two models, it's looking harder and harder for Team Naomi to walk away with the win this season.

Just a few hours after we gave praise to the Carine Roitfeld editorial for Harper's Bazaar, we've learned that Kate Moss is their covergirl for the month of May. Terry Richardson shot Kate, who we reported earlier today is also covering British Vogue, to promote her Topshop collection out on April 30th. Bazaar readers are being offered the opportunity to pre-order three featured items from the collection on ShopBAZAAR starting April 15th. On another note, despite rumors that Richardson was out of the Bazaar family, it looks like the relationship is alive and well.
