Ali Wise, qu'est-ce que c'est? The Dolce bombshell was mistaken several times for Tinsley Mortimer at last night's Museum Dance at the American Museum of Natural History. A new 'do? A Lilly look? Whatever you're doing, love, ça marche.

As some of you may know, Mrs. John L. Strong stationary is a fortune. Why live vicariously in 2006 when there are so many chic downtown stationers to give you something new, different, exciting? Chic is agog over the custom letterpress work of Mr. Boddington's Studio, which not only does the most creative and non-cheesy wedding suites we've seen, but also offers the chicest social stationary (at reasonable prices) available on this side of the pond. Also: genius birth announcements. OK, we want it all. THE DETAILS: price available upon request for custom pieces, MrBoddington.com, 212.686.5953

Marvel Comics for Diesel Cologne Marvel Comics for Diesel Cologne

Usually we don’t like our cologne to look (or smell!) like it could smack us in the face, but we’ll make an exception for this Marvel Comic/Diesel collab. The limited edition Iron Man cologne is shaped like a superhuman fist donning a knuckle ring, but you’ll have to wait to snag this aggressive scent, as the release date is yet to be announced. What does an Iron Man smell like, you ask? Musky, we assume, but fret not—the cologne is simply Diesel’s “Only The Brave” scent repackaged.

What better way to officially welcome springtime than with baubles and lunch at Café Boulud? Yesterday afternoon Emmanuel Perrin, president and CEO of Cartier North America, Mercedes Abramo, director of Cartier New York and Norma Dana, co-founder of the Women's Committee, Central Park Conservancy hosted a cocktail reception and lunch to celebrate "Platinum Jewels in Bloom,” benefiting The Central Park Conservancy Playground Partners. Attendees including Gillian Miniter, president of the Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy and Mercedes Abramo, director of Cartier New York enjoyed a spring luncheon of pea soup, pan seared striped bass and indulged in a delectable bittersweet brownie with goat’s milk ice cream—a perfect exclamation point to end a delightful afternoon uptown. Co-founder Dana declared, “This is a wonderful occasion because each and every one of you is a beautiful flower, yourself!” Why, thank you Ms. Dana!

(Actually, we're sure the rooms are booked for ages already...but Chic can dream, right?) On April 21, Armani Hotel Dubai will officially open its doors---in Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. The first hotel developed by Armani Hotels & Resorts will occupy 15 of the building's lower 39 floors, including Armani/Privé, an upscale lounge, Armani/SPA, Armani/Dolci chocolates store; an Armani/Fiori, a florist, and an Armani/Galleria, which will offer select couture accessories. “My ambition for Armani Hotel Dubai – the first of a collection of Armani hotels, resorts and residences that will soon circle the world – is to celebrate comfort and style by providing the highest standards of design, hospitality and service," said Giorgio in a statement. Don't worry, darling---we think you've got it covered.
