Simply dole out an extra $25 (mil) and allow the original owner to finish creating his Versailles. We'll stick to our studio apartment, but...

Balmain Balmain

Darlings, why are we still drooling over motocross jackets with audacious shoulder pads? While we remain perplexed, can someone please explain why Balmain’s hilariously expensive jacket is sold out on Net-a-Porter? Whatever it is, we trust fashion guru Natalie Massenet, so we’re going to add Balmain’s piece to our wish-list----just in case we change our mind…

If ever there was a woman that could start her own army...Diane von Furstenberg took a slew of Radio City Rockettes (clad in custom DvF, of course) to Vienna for the annual Life Ball, where they posed in true showgirl style. Unfortunately, pose is all they could do: the ladies were prepped to perform when a rainstorm broke out, and the outdoor stage was deemed too dangerous for dancing. At least you look darling!

Chic is nostalgic for the days of high school. Feeling the same way? There’s nothing wrong with that, loves. Lets go old-school this fall and bring back those awkward years (in style, of course) with Christian Dior's thigh-high ribbed socks. We’re thinking that these cute socks (complete with a bow detail at the top) are so very Cher---of Clueless, bien sûr---and you know how well that revival has been going...

Experiencing PFS (platform fatigue syndrome)? Join the club. If you can't wait for Fall's flats to arrive in stores, consider these Jimmy Choo leopard-print slippers. Sublime with cropped trousers and something tight up top, they can turn a dullsville UES-ish ensemble into something just the slightest bit louche---in a good way.
