What are designers Inder Bedi, Lee Catalan and Melissa Joy Manning obsessed with right now? Let's find out, loves!

"I'm obsessed with anything right now that is matte black: hardware, jewelery, furniture, helmets, watches and especially motorcycles!!" ---Inder Bedi of MATT & NAT

“My current obsession is with music artist Kid Cudi. We recently had a launch party for our collaboration with DC Comics, and my favorite part of events is always making a personalized CD for the gift bags. This time I made it with my friends Damon and DJ Kiss, and they both turned me on to Kid Cudi.”---Lee Catalan from NOIR

“I have been obsessed with thrifting lately--- traveling far and wide to source the perfect décor for the store I just opened in Berkeley. I have collected quite the collection of unusual vintage knickknacks, ranging from a taxidermy pheasant from Kansas to vintage dress forms and specimens from the Paris flea market. The store is a true cabinet of curiosities to explore.” ---Melissa Joy Manning

Hamish Bowles has a certain "look" he works when photogs abound. (Check the Gallery to see what we’re talking about.) But what does it all mean? Chic consulted Patti Wood, “the Babe Ruth of body language experts," according to the Washington Post, and author of Success Signals: Understanding Body Language, for the skinny.

“The thumbs and fingers are pointing towards the crotch, which is a cue men give to show they are sexually available. I also call those ‘iconic poses,' because a lot of celebs use them to feel safe and comfortable. I’m getting that he’s doing this to appear strong and manly.” Thanks, Patti!
